I'm glad to see Cleveland get the boot. Racing on an
an airport? Leave that to the SCCA.
Montoya? Game/Set/Match. It's over. The race is for 2nd
now. He needs to go move back to F1 where he will get
better competition.
Vasser? Sitting on a big contract, no need to stick out
his neck anymore. Hope his commercials pay well. He won't
leave TCG, but Chip might look for another charger. Nothing
more that Vasser can teach Montoya.
Mad Max? Thought he would do better. It just goes to show,
you can take the man out of the Toyota, but you can't take
the Toyota out of the man.
Robby ? For a moment, he must of thought he was driving his
Toyota Tundra.
De Ferran? Nice guys finish second. Occasionally they get
lucky and win.
HCN? One of these days...
Penske? Needs to dump those cars, dump those drivers, get
some used Reynards, hire some left-over F1 jockeys,
and kick some butt. What the H is he waiting for?
Overall, the French GP was a much better race.

Hi
Visited your site after your kind comments about my WG Bog narrative.
I forget why I clicked on this particular link, (oops, sign of the Bog Generation... wasn't that a Who! song) other than to say I really enjoyed your view of the Cleveland race. Some comments about that:
- I didn't see it. Bummer, but I dropped cable a couple of years ago 'cos it was silly to be paying $40 / month just for F1 (Bernie.. my personal protest). Now I carry a 6-pack over to a friends house every 2 weeks from March to .. whenever
- I feel like I'm a broken record on rasf1 talking about the need for intelligent (yes life, but besides that) track design - and (believe it or not) an airport circuit in Middle USA leads the way. There are 3 obvious lines through turn 1. Then there's Michael and Paul.
- I have neither a tape of Cleveland nor of,, umm not Paul Ricard, whatever it's called. Magnum something? Please issue a plea to the world for me for tape service.
- Ultimate tape of all time (I have this one:) Senna at 1993 Canadian GP. Only lasted a few laps, but how many people have passed Alesi on the outside of a hairpin? My #2vote for least appreciated lap of all time.
- #1 lap - easily - Jim at Silverstone 1962. 1/2 a lap ahead by Club. Think about it. At least it seemed.
- ras*.* at Mid Ohio?
