Rare Repeat: Justin Pritchard became only the fourth driver in Formula Ford
history to repeat as national champion (though, the third in the last nine years). He led from pole to checker in his
Piper DF5. The other repeat winners were Skip Barber in FF's first two years (1969-70), Bruce May (1995-96), and Keith
Nunes (1998-99). Barber was the only one to do it with two different cars. Pritchard has an opportunity to be the
first to win three straight FF titles.
