Iditarod: The start of the Spec Racer Ford race had conditions more fitting for the famous Alaskan dog sled race. Freezing cold temperatures, wind, snow, and sleet. That's right, snow and sleet! This caused a five car nose-to-tail pileup in the esses at the start, and Chris Dyson (son of Rob Dyson) was one of the victims. Dyson eventually dropped out after two laps.
