Baltimore American Le Mans Series 2011 Photos

GT Cars Battle for Position

GT War: It was quite the battle in GT, culminating when the #55 BMW M3 (right) was knocked off the track while leading during a restart by the #3 Corvette (left) driven by Tommy Milner who was second. The collision allowed the Team Falken Tire Porsche 911 (not in this photo) to assume the lead which it would never give up. Milner was rightfully brought in for a 60-second stop and hold as his move was one of the worst no-chance-in-hell, banzai, failed passing attempts of the season.
