Vanderbilt Cup Races A top notch site devoted to the Vanderbilt Cup Races held on Long Island from 1904-1910. Includes information, data, photos, and rare film clips.
Phil Harms' Champ Car Stats Phil Harms, in conjunction with motorsport.com, has archived the entire statistical record for championship car racing from 1909. Sorted by year or track.
Champ Car Stats Champ Car standings and race results from 1905 through today as well as listings of chassis and engines used over the period.
Rumbledrome American Championship car racing in the 20th century with a fantastic year by year results and statistics section.
CART Archives Omega Timing race archives for both Champ Cars and Indy Lights. Most of their information has since been moved to motorsport.com (see previous link), and since the middle of the 2000 season, cart.com took over official scoring. Thus, data only goes back to 1997 and ends during 2000.
CD's Champ Car Database Server Contains various historical and trivial data about Champ Cars. Most of this information was previously compiled and hosted by the Fullspeed DataBase as CD's has acquired Fullspeed Database.
Indy 500 History/Stats Need any bit of statistics for any Indy 500? Here's the place to look. Click on the appropriate link.
Johnson's Indy 500 A private site that bills itself as the "Largest on-line Indy statistical archive" on the web. Complements the official site quite well. Also includes Brickyard and USGP stats.
Classic Indy Photos Geoff Miller takes photos of open wheel events. He takes after his father who did the same. It's his father's photos that are immortalized here including the infamous pace car crash into the photography stand where his father was one of the victims.
Gordon White World renowned racing historian and author of Offenhauser, Gordon White's own web site. It includes a Leo Goossen archive.
Oval Racing Don Stauffer, model builder and short track oval racing historian, has a nice article on the subject on the Vintage and Historic Racers web site.
The Miller/Offenhauser Historical Society Preserving and proclaiming the Harry Miller, Fred Offenhauser, and Leo Goossen 1917-1945 racing engines and automobiles.
