The 31st Annual National Auto Racing Memorabilia Show will be held on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23 at The Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis (38th and Fall Creek Parkway). The Show is held in the Pioneer Our Land Pavilion. This long-running show is a fixture on the list of traditional events associated with the running of The Indianapolis 500.

Labeled by Andy Granatelli as, "The best-kept secret of the Indy 500 Weekend," collectors and race aficionados can find the whole history of auto racing under one roof. Whether you are looking for museum-quality merchandise; crew-used apparel including shirts, firesuits, car parts and helmets; race programs; photos from all eras; tickets, pins; posters; diecast replicas; Indy 500 memorabilia; pit badges; books; autographs; and so much more will be presented by dealers from across the country and around the world.

The event is open Friday, 1:30-7:30 and Saturday from 9:30-5:00. Admission on Friday is $10 and Saturday is $7. Young persons from ages 7-14 are $3 each day. Members of the Indy Racing League's DownForce Fan Club are eligible for a special discount (check their website and bring your membership card).

Attendees can bring items into the Show to sell or trade.

A full slate of well-known auto racing personalities will fill the Autograph Pavilion both days. Confirmed guests for 2009 include Ralph Liguori, Rollie Beale, and Tom Bigelow on Friday. Larry Dickson, John Martin, Johnny Parsons, Andy Granatelli, and Bill Puterbaugh will appear on Saturday.

On Saturday afternoon at 3:30 a benefit auction will be held at the Show for Riley Children's Hospital. The collection of the late former IMS Vice President Buddy McAtee will be sold to the highest bidders. Some items include a race-used Jimmy Bryan helmet, race-used Danny Sullivan helmet, and a race-used Scott Brayton driving suit. In addition, most current IRL teams/drivers have donated additional items. More than 50 items will be auctioned.

Up-to-date info can be reviewed on the Show website: www.NARMShow.com
